Instructions

  • Propose this quiz to the participants and let them do it (15 min)
  • Discuss afterwards their answers by asking them to argue their positions (25 min)
  • If necessary, guide them in formulating alternative answers, other than A and B (20 min) – which can take into consideration other factors that they think may influence the situation.
NB: Bear in mind that this quiz is not meant to provide either right or wrong answers to the questions, or any moral judgment about individual choices. Indeed, we suggest starting a discussion based on the individual answers to compare the different points of view of the participants. Between A and B, we propose the following solutions: 1B; 2A; 3A; 4B; 5A; 6B; 7B; 8B; 9A; 10

Take inspiration from the situations described in each question: they may be developed into a complete ethical dilemma workshop, such as in the activity ‘Ethical Dilemma’

DIGITAL TOOLS

You can use a combination of digital tools to facilitate different aspects of the activity. like Google Forms, Mentimeter, Zoom. To use Google Forms/Mentimeter for your activity:

1.     Create the quiz and questionnaire using multiple-choice questions.

2.     Share the link with participants, and they can use their smartphones or computers to respond in real-time.

3.     Use the tool to visualize participants’ responses during the discussion and for brainstorming alternative answers.

During the discussion phase, you can use collaborative software or Mentimeter’s features to gather participants’ insights and comments in real-time. You can also use a video conferencing tool alongside Mentimeter, like Zoom if the session is conducted online.

Before the activity, make sure participants are familiar with the tools you plan to use and provide clear instructions on how to access and use them.
