Instructions

  • Brainstorm with the whole group to choose some questions for the interviews, also related to the length of the video you want to create (45-60 min)
  • Once the questions are selected, the group should be divided into small groups of two or three persons: one films, the others lead the interview
  • Each group goes out and meets some people in public spaces, at school, etc. to do the interviews. The participants can ask the interviewees for their email addresses to keep in touch if they agree (120 min)
  • Watch collectively the interviews collected and combine them into one film with a video-making software (60 min)
  • Show the final film to the whole group and discuss it. Then, you can broadcast it to a larger audience (online publication, public event, etc.)
NB: Pay attention to the laws concerning the distribution of images and the image right; if necessary, prepare documents to be signed by interviewed people

POSSIBILE VARIATION

You can make a funny or provocative video in case you have a larger group and according to the context. Ask participants to identify themselves with a corrupted person and finish the sentence ‘I like corruption because…’. This variation works well when participants already know each other and a trustful atmosphere has been created. Try to avoid interviewing people outside the group as they might have doubts about how this video can be used.
